Hi
An update on Joe. He has now seen the Osteopath who thinks he has tweaked a muscle and can't see anything more sinister. He will have several treatments then he should be ok. Phew!!! Thank God and thank you all for your prayers and best wishes.

Thank goodness for that. I completely understand why you were terrified. I really worry about my 23 year old son too and hope he doesn't get it. I don't think anyone else in my family has RA though there are other autoimmune conditions. I am grateful really that I was in my mid forties rather than younger when I got this. I know from reading on this site that it can strike at any age. I'm so glad that this has turned out OK. My heart goes out to you Anne and the only blessing is that your child has a mother who can really understand and help and support them. I wish this awful illness could be cured. Maybe it will be possible in the not too distant future. After all just think how far treatments have improved in the last 10 years.
Best wishes from Naomi.

So glad all is going well, the osteopath should have him sorted out soon enough. Now you can start to relax a little. I do know how you must feel, I have 2 sons and 2 daughters, and already my youngest who is 18 has some little ailments that I have, so it does go through my mind, I just pray that she is ok. Give Joe my best wishes for a speedy recoverySmile

Suzanne, Naomi and Barbara - Thank you so much for your replies. I am so relieved (for now.) Will probably worry again next time one of them has a twinge but that's just me. I will give Joe your best wishes. Thanks again

Hi Sheila

Huge relief all round! Absolutely delighted for you. We worry about our kids, even when they have grown up! Hopefully you can put it out of your mind now and have a well deserved chill!

Maybe when Steve and I are next over in Blackpool to meet up with Lyn, we could get you in on the act as well? I'd love to meet you because you're so obviously as cracked as we are!!! We try to get over every month or so, so that we can go to see Gwenda, a very old forum friend is who is now so poorly she has 24 hour care BUT she still has a wicked sense of humour. Although she can't get on the computer often, she likes to hear news of everyone, including the "old bag" from Southampton. Guess who?!Smile

Love and prayersxxxxxx

Hi Jean

Thanks for your prayers and best wishes for Joe. I feel much more relaxed about him now. Yes, you are right I am as potty as you...... well maybe not quite.....Oh go on then I am. I would love to meet up with you. Let me know when you are next in this area and we can make arrangements. I look forward to it.
